Smells like a TLS issue. Ciphers mismatch? Using plaintext
on an SSL-only port? Add local-ip & port info to your logging.
If you can trigger such a mail on demand, stop your exim daemon
and run exim with debug enabled, to get an idea of what it
thinks it's doing. Only possible if you have a low-usage
system, unless you get clever with firewall-level port redirects.
It may of course tell you it really isn't your end at fault.
