PCRE-8.37-RC1 smashes the stack:

$ libtool --mode=execute gdb --args ./pcretest -q -S 16 -8 -s+ ./testdata/testinput2 testtry
[...]
Reading symbols from /home/test/svn-git/.libs/lt-pcretest...done.
(gdb) run
Starting program: /home/test/svn-git/.libs/lt-pcretest -q -S 16 -8 -s+ ./testdata/testinput2 testtry
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".

Program received signal SIGBUS, Bus error.

Backtrace stopped: previous frame inner to this frame (corrupt stack?)

/proc/PID/maps shows the 0x000003ffb7cc0014 address is in an unnamed region
with rwxp permissions, and the 0x000003ffffffc950 address belongs to the
non-executable stack.
