           Summary: segfault in pcre_exec
           Product: PCRE
           Version: 8.36
          Platform: All
               URL: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/c8bccc307a834d9ffcaf
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: bug
          Priority: critical
         Component: Code
        AssignedTo: ph10@???
        ReportedBy: nx1101@???
                CC: pcre-dev@???

I encountered this by mistake by accidentally loading a binary file into a text
editor I'm working on.

I am not familiar with pcre internals, so I do not know if this is an actual
bug or if I'm invoking something incorrectly, but in any case, here is a small
program to reproduce.

Tested in 8.31 and 8.36. Both segfaulted.
