It's hard to know "for sure". We can only guess and/or ask on the mailing list.

kavserver was dropped by Kaspesky in late 2004 and there a no new virus
signatures available since 2005. Using virus signatures more than 10 years old
is still possible on Debian Potato and Debian Woody. But I assume that people
operating a computer museum with legacy security software will not upgrade to
exim 4.86+.

aveserver get's no new sigatures from Kaspersky since 2014-04-01. That's not
that long ago but the latest software containing aveserver was 5.5.33, released
in 2007. Not upgrading security software for 8 years and virus signatures
approx. one year old is possible but will those admins upgrade to exim 4.86+?

commandline, socket are generic. I switched from Kaspersky to ClamAV.

I don't know about the others but at least http://sophie.sourceforge.net/ looks
at bit outdated.
