This problem depends on the DNS.
Example:
nslookup ya.ru
Server: 85.xx.xx.xx
Address: 85.xx.xx.xx
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: YA.ru
Address: 213.180.193.3
Name: YA.ru
Address: 93.158.134.3
Name: YA.ru
Address: 213.180.204.3
In exim: domain = YA.ru, not the ya.ru
