We've had an A+AAAA lookup since 6abc19, and the trick to lose the auto-double
of a separator char in an value $map adds to the list is to use non-list
processing on the result:
${sg {${map {<; ${lookup dnsdb{>; ns=spodhuis.org}}}{ ${lookup dnsdb{>;
a+=$item}} }}} {;;} { ; }}
If nobody comments further I'll WONTFIX this bug.
