[exim] Not able to enable option log_smtp_confirmation

Dear All,

I am new exim user, i want to enable log_smtp_confirmation option in exim, but it give following error.

Starting exim: 2015-01-01 00:44:23 Exim configuration error in line 173 of /etc/exim/exim.conf:
  main option "log_smtp_confirmation" unknown
                                                           [FAILED]

As per the exim documentation this option is to set in mail configuration option, i did the same.

Also i tried many other options like log_level, log_smtp_connections etc.., still no any luck.


[root@abcd ~]# exim -bP log_level
log_level is not a known option

[root@abcd ~]# exim -bP log_smtp_connections
log_smtp_connections is not a known option

[root@abcd ~]# exim -bP log_smtp_confirmation
log_smtp_confirmation is not a known option

I am using Exim version 4.80.1

[root@server4you1 ~]# exim -bV
Exim version 4.80.1 #2 built 19-May-2013 18:23:58
