After running into this, I did some tests by adding:
maildirfolder_create_regex = /\.[^/]+$
Which appears to have corrected the issue for me. It appears that if
"directory=" is a maildir folder, maildirsize is appropriately added to the
correct root maildir.
Delivery to root maildir:
directory = /var/mail/user/Maildir
or
directory = /var/mail/user/Maildir/.Junk
maildirsize is appropriately added/updated in the root maildir. At least that
was the issue I was having and what I understood this bug to be. I apologize
if I misunderstood.
