As the next release of "PCRE" is not expected for a month or two, I am sure,
libtool with ppc64le support will be released by then.
I will get in touch with you once the libtool will be released.

looking at new release tarball for distro to pick up.We are looking at being
able to point the pkg tarball to the distro such that the pkg builds in the
distro build system without further issues.
