I have updated the documentation to point out that, when a locale is set, the
characters matched by \s and \w (when PCRE_UCP is not set) may vary. The only
testing locale I have on this machine (Arch Linux) is fr_FR (french). I have
tested that, and \s does not seem to match \xA0, so it must only happen in some
locales. What locale were you using? It's all a horrible mess, of course.
