Part 2: I just had exim receive and deliver locally an email which had a 4500
character header line.
This means I cannot reproduce the issue. If you can give me a specific case or
sequence of steps that I can use to reproduce the problem, that would be
superb. My suggestion is to use swaks and have an entire test message (headers
and body) with the long header that's read and sent, like this:
swaks --server you.example.com -f you@??? -t you@??? --helo
mail.example.com --data test.msg
