Exactly. When I write scripts that automatically send mails (e.g. alerts),
where it obviously doesn't make sense to trigger an OutOfOffice-reply,
I add those headers.

No, but:

So it seems Exchange already knows not to reply to those mails, and you
don't need to add any headers.

Sorry, no, I don't handle this with Exim (see above).
