pcre 8.33's tests fail to pass on MacOS X computers with PowerPC processors.
Specifically, it looks like test 1 in the 8-bit library fails.
My computer, where the attached logs are from, is running Mac OS X 10.4.11, and
pcre was built using gcc 4.2. The tests fail with JIT enabled or disabled.
However, I've also had a report of similar failures from a user on a Mac OS X
10.5.8 PowerPC machine. That user's logs can be found at:
