PCRE 8.12 was release on 15-Jan-2011, so it is now two years old. The
current release is 8.32 (30-Nov-2012). I am not a PHP user, but, when I
get time, I will try your patterns directly on the current PCRE release
(under Linux, sorry, have no way to test under Windows) to see if there
are any issues. If there are, they will get fixed, but I'm afraid 8.12
is far too old to get looked at now.
