Temat: [exim] Exim panic log messages due to DKIM failures

I run several email systems based on Ubuntu 10.4 and Exim.

All systems are using built-in DKIM checking. Errors in DKIM checking
result in messages being written to the paniclog which result in me
receiving email messages telling me that the paniclog is non-zero size,
thus:

exim paniclog /var/log/exim4/paniclog on relay2 has non-zero size, mail system might be broken. The last 10 lines are quoted below.

My question is why does the DKIM sub-system write to the paniclog in the
first place? Surely this is a "warning" that should go to mainlog
rather than a critical error that is in the paniclog? I thought the
paniclog was for critical messages that meant the email system was down,
eg. syntax error in config file not allowing system to start up, etc.?

Currently I spend far too much time pressing the 'DELETE' key :-(
