Okay, I think what you mean is that the relevant tests should be moved outside
of the "if ((options & topt_no_body) == 0)" condition, but that the
topt_end_dot checks should remain.
If on third reading I've parsed your suggestion correctly, then it looks sane.
Will look over it a little more.
headers_only is not normally combined with SMTP, which would explain why this
has escaped notice before.
