Sorry for the delay here; it kind of slipped my radar for a while. It appears
that when it is failing, it is restarting from the previous cycle somehow. I
have added some more debugging code into pcre_dfa_exec.c. I will attach the
patch against 8.30. Please run this version with both the -d and -dfa options.
Maybe this will give us more clues.
