With some effort, I could perhaps extract an approximation to the patterns you
are using, but I wouldn't be certain of it, and not knowing what the data is
means it is unlikely that I would find the exact problem you are hitting. What
we really need is the details of a pattern/subject combination that fails.
Otherwise it's just groping in the dark because I have no knowledge of
vbulletin or indeed PHP, since I don't use either of them. Have you reported
this to the vbulletin maintainers? They are the most likely people to be able
to extract an example of a pattern+subject that fails.
