The current release of PCRE is 8.12. The build system for all systems should
work OK for 64 bit. There is documentation in the file NON-UNIX-USE about
building for non-Unix-like systems. There are also some contributions (build
files etc) in the Contrib directory of the FTP site:
ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programming/pcre/Contrib
Start with the README file.
