Dunno.

With all those '.ifdef' and '.endif' I can't tell what you've done AT ALL.

This JF works:

# TRANSPORT_1A REMOTE: Transport for delivering off-box over SMTP connections.
#
remote_smtp:
driver = smtp
headers_remove = X-Spam : < second : and : subsequent : colon : delimited >
