Hi everyone, I work for Rentabiliweb, french web company.
I've one question, for legacy purpose I need to have bounce message's
content delivered by exim the same content than postfix.
Precisely I need (for bot) in the content of the mail :
/Final-Recipient:
Original-Recipient:
Action: failed
Status:
Remote-MTA:
Diagnostic-Code: /
So I set :
/bounce_message_file = /etc/exim4/bounce.mail/
And here's my bounce.mail :
/Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
****
This is the mail system at host $self_hostname.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.
For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.
If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.
The mail system
****
****
Final-Recipient: rfc822;
Original-Recipient: rfc822;
Action: failed
Status:
Remote-MTA: dns;
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;
****
****/
But actually I can't see how to get, smtp error code, smtp error
message, etc. I've already read
http://www.exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch46.html#SECID239
and
http://www.exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch58.html
and
http://www.exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch11.html.
Here's a sample of message triggered by postfix :
/Final-Recipient: rfc822; test@???
Original-Recipient: rfc822;test@???
Action: failed
Status: 5.2.0
Remote-MTA: dns; smtp-in.orange.fr
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.2.0 Mail rejete. Mail rejected. OFR_506 [506]/
Does anyone have an idea about that ? If you live in France (Paris), I
pay a beer for solutions :)
