Case is basically that with the IPv4 address exhaustion, carrier grade NAT will
become more common, so tracing back an email sender will require the connecting
IP address and port (with timestamps) to enable the connection to be traced to
a single originating matching.
Hence we should make the default logging include additional port information -
ie
log_selector = +incoming_port
We probably ought to in general revisit the logging defaults, and decide
whether this is best done in the sample configuration, or by changing the
compiled
in defaults (so that to remove it you need to explicitly disable the logging).
