No, FOOOO is not whitelisted. I did not find any specific brokennesses
with the whitelisting facility. For whitelisted macros exim behaves as
expected, I get a fully functional daemon and logging works.

Sorry I was not clear: The bug is about the fact that logging is
broken when exim switches to no-extra-privileges mode because either
-DSomoenotwhitelistedacro
or
-C /path/not/in/TRUSTED_CONFIG_LIST
was used.
