You misunderstood Nigel's message - this RC is a security release and you did not open an enhancement request in Bugzilla.
Open one, provide justification - even better provide a patch, and you have a chance to get the feature in a future release. Without, you'll get nothing.

Actually I had asked for it on this list months ago. May 21 to be
precise. Why is it security related?
