Actually, it's more than 50% - about 55%. Part of that will be sysadmins
doing security by obscurity. Part will be developers simply not putting the
information in the default banner; qmail for example. Part may be
connection to hosts that aren't actually MTAs. I suspect the second item is
the largest part, but don't really know.
