Hi list,
I am having a situation with two mail servers, one is the primary and
the other is the backup (secondary). on my domains both are setup as MX
records which is not really the case as any mails thats falls througt
the backup mail server there is not way that my users can assess those
mails as am not doing loadbalancing or any of those sorts. both have the
same config, now what i was thinking of doing is have the backup
(secondary) server be a queue only server for the primary, incase their
is any mail fall through like the primary is busy or down, the backup
should queue the mails untill the primary is ready to accept the mails.
did anyone has an idea on about to go about this.
