Hello all,
I am trying to configuration Exim4 on a ubuntu 9.10 Server to use
locally and externally. I went Through
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Exim4 guide. I was able to send and
receive mail on local network to local email accounts. However, when I
try to send to remote domain I get this
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [209.85.227.27]:
550-5.7.1 [My Static IP Address ] The IP you're using to send mail
is not authorized to
550-5.7.1 send email directly to our servers. Please use the SMTP
relay at your
550-5.7.1 service provider instead. Learn more at

i can receive mail from remote domain but cannot send.
I am not sure what i am missing if someone could point me to right
direction to fix the problem.
I attached my .conf files
update-exim4.conf.conf
exim4.conf.template
Note - I do have a real domain, Static IP Address.
Any help would be much appreciated.
