[exim] exim 4.71 compile problem

Hello

when compiling exim 4.71 from sources, i get the folowing error:

gcc -o exim
gcc: lookups/lookups.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [exim] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/exim-4.71/build-Linux-i386'
make: *** [all] Error 2

In directory /usr/src/exim-4.71/build-Linux-i386/lookups the file named
lookups.a is missing.


Details about the machine:
uname -a

Linux 2.6.29.4-imq #1 SMP Sun Nov 29 01:08:26 EET 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

gcc --version

gcc (GCC) 4.2.4 (Ubuntu 4.2.4-1ubuntu4)
