You can do limit SMTP session limit as well using IPTABLES.... Add below command in your IPTBALES /etc/sysconf/iptables
-A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m limit --limit 20/min -j ACCEPT
This will limit users to 20 sessions per min...
