You are quite right. It *is* wrong. I obviously just missed out that
case when I was adding the partial-matching checking stuff for 8.00.
Thank you for the report. I will fix it when I next work on PCRE. There
is a little list of issues now, so I suppose I will have to find some
time soon. :-)
