[pcre-dev] (DEFINE) problem

I use PCRE 8.0

pattern: .(?(DEFINE)(?<s1>.)(?<s2>..))
subject: aaa
result: PCRE_ERROR_NOMATCH

but i waits
result: a

Imho, it is a bug. Fix it quickly, please. It is critical for my
application!
