The "current" documentation is not in any case the "right"
documentation. In example using Debian Etch, the 4.63 is
still the valid one.
I would suggest a more neutral wording like:
Reference Manual for exim 2.00, released 1998
Select manual for your exim version at
http://exim.org/somewhere
