Yes, I did, but I've been doing other things while waiting for comments
to come in on the RC, and it didn't seem worth posting anything until
I'd actually looked at it. (And somehow, time rushes by... :-)

Yes. I am intending to look at all the comments starting either later
today or tomorrow. My guess is that what you found is a bug in the new
code I added to pcre_study(). My intention is to get the 8.00 release
out early next week if I can.
