Hi Andreas,

same results.

I wrote:
log_file_path=syslog
at the end of the file:
/etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template

and also after a service reload / restart the command 'exim4 -bP log_file_path' still returns 'log_file_path = /var/log/exim4/%slog'.

If helps, I've accepted to split the files when 'dpkg-reconfiguring' exim.
