           Summary: DNSSEC Support
           Product: Exim
           Version: N/A
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: medium
         Component: Experimental
        AssignedTo: nigel@???
        ReportedBy: eximX0902w@???
                CC: exim-dev@???

DNS lookups inside Exim need to be validated via DNSSEC where available.

Should be added to:
SMTP delivery
dnsdb lookups
SPF (is this even done in Exim or the library?)
??

Posfix & Sendmail seem to use 'libval' library for DNSSEC validation.
This library can be found at http://dnssec-tools.sourceforge.net/

Are there other libraries available?

Is this really necessary in an MTA?
