There is Zarafa (
http://www.zarafa.com/), it integrates with every MTA.
It uses your MTA for sending (SMTP) and receives the messages from your
local MTA via a pipe (command). All mail routing has to be done in your
MTA.
Long time it was focused on serving Outlook clients, but it talks ICAL,
IMAP, ... too.
For detailed information check their site (for licensing information
too, AFAIK there are different licensing models).
