-bP shows the definition (as you saw). In general there's no way to see the
complete list of domains in a domain list, because of pattern matching etc.
However you can use something like:
exim -be '${if match_domain{a.given.domain}{+some_list}}'
to see whether or not a.given.domain matches +some_list.
