Yuck, thanks (for some definition of "thanks"!). Don't you just
love portable interfaces. I'd already hit problems with curses
forms support on Debian Etch (works in Lenny), but didn't think
there would be problems with something as basic as newterm :-(
I'll have a look and see if a) I can reproduce the problem myself
and b) if there is a way around it without recoding in C...
(or c) if you're all going to have to install Debian ;-) ).
Perl here is 5.8.8 on Debian etch with perl Curses 1.13. It works
on Debian lenny with Perl 5.10.0, too.
