[exim] 554 No SMTP service here

Hi all,
i've searched in this ML and in google too for this strange behaviour...some
times users call me and say that they cannot send email to somone.
Taking a look i've found that sometimes some mailservers respond me at
connect phase with a 554. For instance:

telnet mx01.ancara.net 25
Trying 194.69.193.8...
Connected to mx01.ancara.net (194.69.193.8).
Escape character is '^]'.
554 No SMTP service here
Connection closed by foreign host.
So ...before HELO/EHLO time.
And if i try with my personal email works great.
I've found a discussion in this ML that points to "Rude reaction to 554" and
that exim doesn't try secondary MXs in this situation.
Do someone knows if there is any kind of solution/workaround?
