I run exim as the frontline server and then Exchange with just Mailbox
and Client Access roles. IMO, exim has far more flexibility as an edge
transport server than Exchange.
You can also integrate exim nicely with Exchange by peforming Active
Directory LDAP lookups to do recipient verification.
