Brother fax machines will print a tif attachment if the email body says:
Image data in TIFF-F format has been attached.
and if the attachment name is:
image.tif
and if there are no other attachments
I want to exim to say if the sender is support@??? and the
subject line contains "TrustFax Notification for", then the body should
be replaced with "Image data in TIFF-F format has been attached.", the
first tif attachment should be renamed image.tif and the rest of the
attachments should be stripped off the message.
What is the best way to do this? BTW, in case anyone is curious, the
Brother MFC 7440N has introduced a nifty feature that eliminates the
hassles associated with faxing via voip. You can program the unit to
send faxes via what they call "Fax to Server", I put a stack of paper on
the feeder, press 13145276403 <send>, the 7440N will image the stack and
email it to 13145276403@???
Pretty nifty huh! No more silliness regarding t.38, making sure the fax
machine can be set to 9600 baud etc etc
