Hello,

ZW>That is not a misspelling, it is the British spelling of that word.

PH>Indeed it is, and in the PCRE distribution tarball, there is a file
PH>called LICENCE, not LICENSE, within which the British spelling is
PH>consistently used. Not surprising really, seeing as how I'm British.
PH>The PCRE web site is not run by me; if it were, I would have used the
PH>British spelling for the file name.

The spelling mismatch is my fault. As an American, I don't think I even
noticed the spelling mismatch when I made the LICENCE -> license.txt
symlink (the file aliasing exists so that older Microsoft browsers
aren't confused by the lack of file extension). I've corrected the
filename to be consistent with the British spelling.

Humbly,

Andrew
