I think what you are trying to do is to re-invent the wheel...

There are good solutions to do this. If you don't want to use full
scale spamfilters like Spamassassin or Dspam, which is very good when
well configured, you can use one of the other filters which use mainly
bayesian filters like spamoracle or bogofilter.

We have minimal problems with spam because we use a combination of
anti-spam measures which includes exim-configurations like
greylisting, dns-blacklists, sender verification and then other
software like spamassassin and clamav (with Sanesecurity signatures).
