Is "somebody" me? If it is true, you are misunderstanding something.
I reproduced this problem using ORIGINAL (without a patch) PCRE7.7 on Ubuntu
Linux. And then, I confirmed that this problem solved with the patch which I did
post here.
I want to break off only misunderstanding that the patch does not work on Ubuntu
Linux.
(Perhaps the cause of misunderstanding was lacking in my explanation....)
