You're confused.

This would be like throwing away some very simple and very basic and
mostly inexpensive procedures in favour of unmeasured deliverability
time improvements. "Your email might get there quicker, or it might not
get there at all."

If a message's delivery is critical, sending it via email shows a
shocking lack of understanding of the medium.
