I am running exim with a special-purpose router that delays every outbound
mail by 5 minutes:
delay_outgoing:
driver = redirect
domains = !+local_domains : !+relay_to_domains
senders = ! : !lsearch;/usr/local/etc/exim/delayed_senders
condition = ${if < {$message_age}{300}{yes}{no}}
allow_defer
data = :defer: message not old enough
no_verify
Exim is running with "-bd" only... nothing else. I have a cron entry that
flushes the queue every 6 minutes:
*/6 * * * * root /usr/local/sbin/exim -qff
2>&1
However, occasionally (actually, more often) I get the following type of
message (sent to root):
2008-05-21 10:12:07 1JyiTd-00071U-0W failed to unlink
/var/spool/exim/msglog/d/1JyiTd-00071U-0W
I have only the default retry rule. Could someone be able to tell me what's
the probable cause of this phenomena?
