(debian etch, handwritten config)

If I set smtp_active_hostname to a value, like so:

smtp_active_hostname       = ${if
eq{$interface_address}{SPAMTRAPIP}{mail4.ii.nl}}

(SPAMTRAPIP being a macro equal to an IP)

then smtp_active_hostname isn't used for the banner but is for the helo
response:

is this a bug or documentation omission?
