I used DSPAM upto 3.6.8 with Exim-4.6x at the ISP I used to work at and I
wrote the following wiki entry:

Is it the one you followed?
What errors did you get?
I don't run DSPAM actively anymore but I may be able to help.
I suggest we take the discussion off list as it has very little to do with
Exim itself.
