Hi
after an update of my system running exim 4.62 and amavisd-new 2.50,
mails with more than 3 reciepents will not be delivered and blocked
by amavis with the following error:
421 4.1.0 Failed, id=07297-15, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 421
Unexpected log failure, please try later
In the FAQ I've read that this problem comes from the openfiles limit
on the os. So I've set the openfiles to 4096 (from default 1024):
$ ulimit -a
core file size (blocks, -c) 0
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
pending signals (-i) 40960
max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 32
max memory size (kbytes, -m) 3522740
open files (-n) 4096
pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 8
POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
stack size (kbytes, -s) 8192
cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
max user processes (-u) 40960
virtual memory (kbytes, -v) unlimited
file locks (-x) unlimited
But nothing has changed. Still mails to recipients > that
3 will not be delivered.
So what can I do ?
