In the last few days, I have received security advisories about multiple
vulnerabilities in PCRE in several Linux distributions (CVE-2007-1659,
-1660, -1661, -1662, -4766, -4767, and -4768). Are these vulnerabilities
present in PCRE itself, thus present in all versions of Linux that
implement it, or does it depend on the Linux distro used?
I hope you can give me an answer, since the situation is somewhat
confusing to me at the moment.
